Newcomer / Intro which files to backup to restore in the future

Hallo Commander,

I install the ED on my D drive, as we know that there are files install on C drive,

like

c:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\

c:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\


will it be enough to backup all those files, when reinstall windows and reinstall the ED and restore all the files I mention above, can anyone confirm this? thanks

None, all your saves are stored server side.
Maybe your key/config file but I save nothing as its all done by FD

It's handy to at least backup the "Bindings" folder. That's where your control schemes are stored.

Thats the one, but as I only alter 2 settings its easier for me just to alter those 2 if I need to reinstall
