Engineers Which genie do I need to find Heat Dispersion Plates?

It's been 2 days for me, around 6-7 hours straight playing ED. I've been checking USS's, all types of RES, conflict zones, nav beacons, everything, and I've not found a single heat dispersion plate. Now, i don't know how you feel about it, but I feel pretty insulted by the developers that I've spent 2 days gaming to find the lowest level upgrade and haven't got anything for it. I will not be continuing, in fact its left such a bad taste in my mouth I'm gonna have a break for a week or so. I love Elite, but having such a stupidly impossible, but yet 'simple' task like this, coupled with RNG when actually doing the upgrades? Nah. Feels like a middle finger to my playtime.
On the plus side, i earned around 8 mil from the RES' and CZ's 😂

What have you been killing? Make sure you kill innocent traders - Type 6,7,9 Haulers, Keelbacks... These should drop what you're looking for.

I've spent a long while farming components that drop from transport ships. Go to your galmap, filter for anarchy systems only. Once you head there you have a couple of options. First, you can camp the beacon for transport ships. Second, you can interdict transport ships in that system. Last, and by far the best, if you find a convoy USS, you drop in there and stay there after you kill the first group. There's a continuous respawn of transport ships - every type and size.

Yep, this guy's got it bang on.

Trade ships. Kill them. Does say this on the engineer screen if you check the specific item.

A nice little "cheat" is to find a system at war that has a "seeking weapons" point. You can keep dropping in, killing a T9, hoover up the stuff and get back to SC to do it again before the cops get to you.

Amarchy system in War, find Seeking Weapons. Rinse and repeat till you have 300+ materials that drops from haulage vessels
