Which GTX 970 driver is most stable for ED and new Star Wars Battlefront?

Hi,

I have been running the old driver from a year ago that NVIDIA did for ED but needed to update this for Star Wars Battlefront.

Battlefront actually said that the driver was too old!

I updated to the minimum required running on windows 7 64 bit and all was well with Battlefront and ED until I logged out and back in again then it started to crash on going to hyperspace jump to another system.

Anyone running both of these games on the same driver for a GTX 970?

I have a GTX 970 with Windows 10 64bit. I have the latest drivers with no issues. I would verify if you have a 64bit OS or 32bit. If you go to control panel and system it will tell you there (system type). Only thing I can think of off hand is you got the wrong version of the driver.

Thanks, It is 64 bit operating system running Windows 7.

the weak point is the i5 CPU with 2.9GHz.

RAM 10 GB

I may update to Windows 10 from Windows 7 to see if that solves the problem. At the moment I cannot find a driver that is stable for both games?

If someone is running Windows 7 and has a driver that runs both ED and Battlefront can they tell me which one it is please?

You upgraded to the minimum driver required, why on earth would you do that ???? You should always update to the latest version of drivers.

Biggest disappointment of the year, seriously

I agree - Star Wars Battlefront hasn't moved on from the last instalment, not even worth the £20 I paid.

I went to see Star Wars today and the CGI of the planets was nearly as good as ED :)

Just shows how good ED is really
