Engineers Which is best?

I'm coming back to the game after a break. I don't mind admitting that I am completely ignorant of everything in the game that's happened or been added to the game since just before the Engineers update, so I figured it would be best to do a little research in the interest of not getting blown up as soon as I undock :D

Now, I know there are plenty of guides and tutorials to help me out on getting up to speed and that's why I'm writing this as there's so many to choose from that I think I need to ask you, the community, for your valuable opinion.

So without further ado, here's my question:

Which one is the go-to? Which one is the universally accepted and absolute best tutorial forum thread or website out of all the many to choose from, on the subject of engineers and anything else that came after engineers?

Greetings CMDR Sticklebrick!

Purely for information on what engineer/blueprint/material is available and what you need... inara.cz I'd say. Under galaxy - engineers. That's the tool I use the most, and eddb.io to find your commodities/stations.
Those 2 sites should help you. Let me give you a piece of advice though, don't get fixated on engineers only. Take it one step at a time and do some other stuff in between, it can be extremely frustrating and time consuming. I have unfortunately seen my fair share of people "rage-quitting" over this. And a thing to remember if you fly several ships; make sure every ship you want to engineer contains a cargo rack before you start, so you don't get stuck in the situation where you have all the commodities you need, only to find out you can't switch to the ship you want to engineer! I have experienced this situation more than once, not good for one's blood pressure.

Good luck commander! o7
