I havent tried a rift or vive but it would take a lot for me to consider them £100+ better than the hdk 2.

Would love to know more about how the HDK2 handles ED, for me it's a serious contender.

Vive sucks for Elite! And in general the subpar headset! Anything seated - racing, flight or space games, well all seated experiences the RIft is the far better HMD!

Regarding the standing and walking around in a small space: ROFLCOPTER its a uuseless gimmick and will NEVER EVER see a triple A game! it was just a marketing stunt...

I can only assume you have never tried it. Room scale, whether on the Vive or the Rift is the future. Once tried, it's hard to accept a seated experience.

As for AAA titles... both Doom and Fallout confirmed for next year

That's what I used to think!. But after finding out the VIve does not have color banding issues, I think I am leaning to get a Vive now!
