Which space games are you playing whilst you wait for Elite 4?

Hi Folks

Playing X2: The Threat, and have X3: Reunion 2.0 GotY edition and X3: Terran Conflict on standby. And if I manage to finish those I could always pick up X3: Albion Prelude, alas still waiting for X Rebirth.

I so loved homeworld 2 I, will have to get those.

The best space shooters (apart form elite of course)
were x-wing series (PC), the wing commander games (amiga, PC)

Not many good space games in recent years though....

And nattydread? Homeworld 2 complex has seen yet another update since my last post. Its awesome. Have a peek at this vid, it's most pleasant.

Salvation Prophecy News

Thought I would give Salvation Prophecy a mention. It's dev (Jabberwocky) has just finished a Linux port of his game. Details here and the game itself is on Desura.

Hi Geraldine, Yes Homeworld probably my second favourite (admittedly a long way behind Elite!) so hope the Kickstarter succeeds

Yes the Homeworld Touch Kickstarter reached it's funding goal, but Team Pixel was unable to secure the rights to the game and had to issue a refund to everyone who pledged. Instead Gearbox bought the rights. It remains to be seen what they will now do with the franchise.

I have been playing the X Series - got them all - great fun - but I still like Frontier.

Also have reinstated Privateer 2 - that's a great game but can be finished quite quickly and then it can become somewhat tedious.

That's easy.. Playing the original Elite in my wonderful BBC Emulator...

Mine in the sense that I use it not in the sense that I wrote it... I didn't... Time and other things to do... Besides why write a new one when there's perfectly good ones out there....
