While we're waiting for the patch...

I've recently got enough money to buy the things a wanted, like an Anaconda for trading, an A rated Viper for fighting and an Asp made for exploring, BUT I don't know what to do now that I've got what I wanted...

I'm thinking about saving money till I can get an A rated Python or an A rated Anaconda, but I don't now if the A rated Anaconda will be worth all the grinding I'll have to do in order to get it. It will take me about 15 days to get enough money for the Python and about 40 days to get the A rated parts for my Anaconda.

So what should I get?

Well you could use your Anaconda for trading, or your viper for fighting, or you Asp for exploring.....I mean if you spent all that time grinding to get them it would be bloody stupid not to do the very things you set yourself out doing now you have got there. Would seem a shame to pull out at the last second.......Not catholic are you?

That reveals in part where the game fails at the moment. No goals except getting rich.
I'd do some dogfights, some war zones, or pay more attention to the stories in the galaxy or systems status, imagining a lot.

Well I've done some fighting in my Viper and some trading in my Anaconda and it was fun to fight in the Viper, but only for an hour or so... And then I thought it would be funnier to fight in a bigger ship :p

But yeah, as you said, there is not that much you can do in the game at the moment, so you're just getting richer and richer, or maybe there's just to much to do so nobody knows what to start with :D

Buliding rep, affecting systems, tracking down bounties, exacting revenge, finding the mobile station and becoming part its community, test community goals, helping new players, uber mining. .... ok that last one was stretching it a bit.

Hmm... was thinking about getting the A rated Python (which seems to be the perfect multi-purpose ship as it's a good fighter, can carry some cargo and can land on outposts) and then do a bit of everything.

A job? You clearly have way too much free time on your hands if you can raise that kind of money in that short a time.

You could always clear your save and start again? maybe when you get back to where you are now there will be something else to do in the game! ;)

Haha, well, I play about two hours a day and make about 10 million credits in that time. But I have to admit that I've never played a single game this much :D

If that's the only goal you can think of then I guess the problem isn't the depth of the game but the depth of your imagination.

Or not enough kids. :D

With the option to do station logging and Open/Solo switching? LOL. Tracking is simply unviable, broken, not playable. The most interesting part of the game, completely broken by that.

Agreed, there is a lot of work to do on 'Tracking' down bounties and there is (in my not always so humble opinion) and more that could be done to prevent people using solo as a way to avoid contact with players when Bountied (I thought players that received bounties from player action or player killing were going to be forced into Open play for the very purpose of making sure Bounty Hunters could find them)? Even a cool down timer to prevent instant switching would be useful.

These things though (I think) will come in time. The game has not been running 2 months and we still have a great deal to come.

As money is not an issue for the OP (and many others like her/him), then attempting to find those bountied players is not a matter of making a profit as much as enjoying the hunt and there is always the chance of catching someone napping.

The OP has what a large number of people have spent a great deal of their time trading for, the choice to roam free and do whatever takes his/her (hir? :)) fancy without having to worry about whether it is profitable or not.

As Cmdr Pli55ken said - now is the time to use your imagination.

Use your imagination, hmm... I think I will get a python and then try to use my imagination!

Please tell me how you can make 5 million an hour. The best I can do per hour now that the Luxury traders have been taken away from us is well under 2 million.

That is exactly what I would do if I were in your position.

However I am a tad confused at what you have money for. If you have the money to buy an Anaconda, then you already have the money to get an A rated Python surely?
