White Dwarf Systems and Heat Bug?

Wow, perhaps should try and listen to what everyone is telling you. Zero your throttle either prior to or 'immediately' after dropping out of warp... It's not hard, using that method you will never have heat or SC dropout issues.
Yep, I love that about using a flight stick with throttle. As soon as I going to jump and it starts counting (4...3..) I drop my throttle back to 0. Works every time. (except once) Dropped in on a T or Y class Brown Dwarf and it was sucking me in like a wormhole. My trying to escape resulted in having to align my ship to escape trajectory. It had me on edge :p

I have an autofire configured for my "break to zero" key and I activate it when jumping to such system so that I stop as soon as I can. Combined with decent heat-efficient upgrades it helps with this type of stars. I wish Frontier would only drop us up close when the star can actually be scooped.

Wait, you can actually drop it BEFORE the jump? /leaves to tweak his jump macro

Yes, when it begins counting down - you can drop throttle and will still engage the jump. I only found this out yesterday as I had been leaving throttle up until I got to my next star system then playing hell dropping throttle and turning to avoid the big glowy thing lol
