Powerplay gave us "Hostile" - this refers only to ships pledged to the power of the system you're in being free to kill you without any bounty (if you are pledged to a different non-faction sharing power).

Unfortunately we already have a "Hostile" - This is in reference to faction standing making you KOS to any ships in that faction that come across you. I also believe this causes stations to refuse docking privileges.

On top of that there is "Hostile" - in reference to any ship that has purposely (or exceeding friendly fire buffer) fired upon your ship.

If i'm in power play and the HUD says "Hostile" where it normally says "Wanted" my initial thought is that the controlling faction hates me and any stations under their control will not allow me to dock. Then i remember that Powerplay "Hostile" doesn't mean that at all and only comes into play when dealing with minions of the power.

I think for the most part Hostile Ships and Hostile factions can be understood without changing anything.

I think the msg area should say "Dangerous" instead of "Hostile" in regards to the Power relationship.

If you are in a power controlled system and you also have Hostile standing with the authority faction then it should cycle the msg's in that area, going from "Dangerous" to "Hostile" repeatedly.
