Who else is suffering from ...

I think that if I just make one more jump, I can be set up to buy my next trade run when I start again. Then I get there, and I am like: well, I'm here already, might as well finish this leg of the trade run. It is a viscious circle!

I have an automatic system that stops me playing. A wife with hands on hips saying "you still playing that....you've been on it for hours"

Yes! I usually go to bed at about 2300, first night it was 0200, didnt realise the time! and I was shattered at work, last night I found the clock on the ships display so it was midnight last night!

haha, always a sign of a good game when you want "one more go".

Followed by a feeling of shame that you're spending time on a computer game and not with her. :)

Doesn't work for me, she's just as likely to be over on warcrack (the family which slays together stays together)

Let's just say that if you have any tendency for OCD, don't try exploring. :D

I'm doomed.

yes, compounded by the fact that you can take multiple missions.

It's all too easy just to add another one to the list when you know you should be finishing what you've got before you log off.

I suffer from 'empty hold syndrome' where I can't leave the game if my ship has an empty hold. I just need to fill it with some cargo.

That wouldn't be a problem if I didn't also suffer from 'full hold syndrome' :D

Me too, I'm afraid. Every time I think I should park the Cobra for the night there's a massively well paid mission grinning at me from the bulletin board. ;)

Yep red eyes at work :p
I did the same with the original too (yes I was old enough to be working in 84), you'd think I'd have learnt by now :D

Once you get immersed in the ED universe you need outside intervention to remind you of the time. I didn't get that last night and ended up going to bed at 5am !
