He's a myth, and a legend. I'm sure @Erimus Kamzel will be along now you have invoked him.
The player who discovered Beagle Point and created Distant Worlds. He's CMDR Kamzel in the game afaik.
I suppose, from a lore perspective, one could call him "One of the first and greatest explorers of the Frameshift Drive Era. He was the first to visit the system now named Beagle Point, the most remote system in the gaalxy that was accessible with those primitive first-generation frameshift drives, and return to tell the tale - a feat which puts him on par with Amundsen (Earth's south pole), Hillary (Mount Everest on Earth), Armstrong (Earth's moon), Singh (Mars), Taylor (Tau Ceti), Duval (Achenar), and Zulu Romeo (Sag A*) as part of the pantheon of humanity's greatest frontier-definers. Now semi-retired, he still commands the respect of many up-and-coming explorers and boundary-pushers."
