Anyone know who is the New Regent in

Is Chancellor Blaine being replaced, and by whom?
Is Arissa become heir apparent and Regent?
Is it Florence becoming Regent?
Or is the article referring to the Bride becoming Empress-Consort?

It'll be Florence Lavigny I suspect, upon her marriage to the Emperor she'll become Empress-Consort and, one would suspect the new Regent in the event of any situations that require someone to rule on Hengist Duval's stead.

If so, if Lady Florence will be the New Regent, who is the old regent
If the Chancellor, why replace him?
If Not Chancellor Blaine, then who was the old regent?

I would have thought that Arissa would become heir apparent and Regent, Chancellor Blaine would then get back to running thing in the background like he always has.

Flattered though I am by your suggestion of the appreciation of my well-turned ankle, I cannot in all good conscience accept your no doubt well meant invitation to become Regent on the grounds that you are a bunch of slave-dealing, Lave Radio-listening, English language mangling, bio-waste eating inbreeds! Why don't you go and bother Senator Woggle, or whatever his blasted name is, and see if he can drag himself away from his book-signing long enough to see the Empire for what you think it is!
