** WARNING: Rant incoming! **
So, either we're being heavily sabotaged, or the crowd of Sirius contractors is comprised of brain-dead imbeciles. I can't explain the kind of expansion choices this crowd makes otherwise, it's really frustrating to watch. This crowd is constantly going for isolated systems that nobody's ever going to bother to fortify, while being guaranteed to be undermined every week. This crowd is going for instant gratification almost every week like five year olds, leaving gaps everywhere in Sirius territory that can never be profitably filled. Yeah, that green blotch in the middle of a bunch of other green blotches is just too sexy, eh? That it would be a better idea to split areas like these up between two or three control systems instead of one that's surrounded by leftovers is an idea that only few seem to be able to grasp (three control systems at 30 CC each or one control system at 90 - guess in which case the undermining of one system is going to hurt more). Apparently, trying to establish a dense network of control systems instead of this loose collection of isolated dumps would be just too sensible.
The two systems currently chosen for preparation, HR 2776 and V2689 Orionis, are testament to this. They're both excessively dumb choices. Competing against Hudson for HR 2776 is obviously failing, which was to be expected, and V2689 is going to be undermined by Mahonists easily. The only thing that the people who thought these choices were good ideas are doing is to bind just more iron balls to Sirius' feet.
I'm not going to bother to lift a finger for that part of Sirius PP anymore, it's hopeless. I'm just going to continue to earn my merits by going for hunts in Hudson's red bubbles nearby for the money. It's just not worth spending any further thought on the rest.
Sorry for the harsh language, I just had to get this off my chest.
Rant over.
