Who recorded the 1.1 cargo scooping sounds from a cell phone?

No, seriously, why didn't they test the audio with a sub-woofer present? Go scoop up a canister right now, you'll hear the blips and the canister going inside your ship like if it was recorded from a cell phone or tested on a laptop. I find those contemporary treble audio nowadays ridiculous. Is anybody else having this problem?

Thanks,

Aluminium

Not noticed it myself but will check it out later.

But really, I just wanted to ask whether its Aluminium or Aluminum :D
....which gives you a free bump too ;)

It was only because your profile uses *num but you signed your OP *nium :D
And yeah I do agree after listening to it more closely, it does sound like it was recorded on a cellphone (kinda) but I tend not to scoop much.

Hmmm my sound uses the subwoofer quite heavily so with cargo scoop?

If I find the guy that said fuel scooping sounds like a guy whistling into a tin bucket, I'm going to strangle him. That's all I hear now when I fuel scoop.

It's likely this is related to the other sound issues covered in another thread. Pretty much all the bass has gone depending on peoples sound configurations. For me at least, the worse thing is that Hyperspace now sounds like a journey through an old flatulent man's intestines. It's really quite off putting. Hopefully a fix is on its way.
