Who says you can't have fun with the Type-10

I just bought one (T-10). It's fitted for laser mining. Literally the best investment I made in this game.

I too have been converted to the T10 Miner club. Was previously using a Cutter and T9, and I've gotta say, the T10 whips em for traditional mining. Enough hard-points for 4 mining lasers plus 4 large multi-cannons and a fragment cannon for defences. Enough internals for 256 tons of LTDs, 9 collectors, a fuel scoop to get to in-demand markets and a Guardian FSD Booster to help get there quicker, plus Detailed Surface Scanner and cup holders. All wrapped in military heavy duty armour, with thrusters sharp enough to get you from rock to rock quickly.

I didn't find the T10 great for fighting Thargoids in (actually they blew me up in one), but as a laser mining ship, accept no substitute.

I sold my T10 to pay for a Cutter and use its modules where they fit. I really like the T10 and will buy another soon. I'm mining in a Vette atm and look forward to trying a T10 for this work. I learned how to do combat in a big ship in my T10 which helped when I got in the Cutter. But I'm conflicted, I've learned to mine recently to build up some credits for the upcoming FC and buying a T10 would take a bite out of my bank balance. That dbl painite mining is starting to pay off.
