We've all seen the signs of expanding platforms for revenue generation. only stands to reason that another platform needs to come into the fold. especially with things like the move controllers and project Morpheus!
Who thinks the 'secret project' to be announced soon is going to be a PS4 version?

I don't think so because the quote specifically references a secret for the PC/MAC.

It would be the next logical step for FDEV. I mean, what company is going to scoff at a large amount of potential 'next gen' customers. Any ways the PS4 has more graphical grunt then the Xbone to showcase a game like ED and it has project Morpheus...win win for FDEV.
Beachlight would be overjoyed with a PS4! And, upon reflection I would be too. Elite on Remoteplay to the Vita!!

That could easily be that xbox players will be visible in the main PC/Mac game. And the PS4 players too!
Im pretty cynical since powerplay, so I think I might be surprised as my expectations are lower than reasonable but I know that

solo open reward changes...therefore more awareness of what your doing
Are all recent things, put that together and you got new powers maybe with alien influences and powerful ships with shiny gimmicks and you have some sort of invasion situation to create a more exciting story with

I don't think it's a secret that it'll be on PS4 eventually - it's a larger user base than the xbox. I also find it hard to believe that they'd be 'excited' to announce that, then again I wasn't too excited about the last 2 announcements. 
Why. I consider myself a forum dad, and i've been ok with powerplay and the upcoming CQC.
Can't wait for it to come to PC. Then ill show you young whippersnappers a thing or two about combat!
I do not think they will announce a development to come on PS4. It's too early. For the moment, it is Microsoft which has the exclusive on console, and an announcement for the PS4 would be inappropriate in this context which is too recent
Not really, just Sony focusses on 1080p while MS focusses on frames per second. I owned both and sold the PS4 because of all the FPS issues it was haveing. Now cue any Sony diehards(I admit I used to be one, though...I'm not proud) "but ooh 1080p purtier"...not really, in fact game's I played were vary comparable on both graphically.
