Horizons whoa - what's Elite Dangerous 32 bit doing on my drive?

First of all, congrats FD - looking forward to exploring Horizons properly and the forthcoming additions.

Last night, after some initial confusion I got Horizons to start installing (or so I thought) when it was eventually done, the only part of the game that gave the PLAY option was "Elite Dangerous 32 Bit". I reselected Horizons and installed that, which was quite a lot quicker.

All I'm thinking is, have I needlessly put Elite Dangerous 32 bit on my ever shrinking hard drive? And if so, can I remove it? Cheers, and Happy Horizons to you all. :)

This would interest me as well, as I also have a 32-bit version on my HD and only need Horizons...

You can delete the 32 bit version if you don't plan on playing on it. There is nothing to get confused about.

I didn't see it as an option I could uninstall through Control Panel/Programs and Features, you mean delete the folder manually in the game directory? Doesn't that upset........ The Registry??!!!! and stuff like that? :)
Which folder?

in the launcher select dangerous 32bit (as if going to launch) but then go to options (top right)/uninstall game it should only remove the selcted game version
