whos out there? and where?

100 ly from Sol, in my home system of ELEU-SANTJALAN.

Just returned from a +3 months exploration two weeks ago. And been fighting the Plague ever since and even fell sick myself this weekend

Taking a break to stabilize home, and then digest all the data accumulated.

Will be back in the black in a couple of months or so.

Awww you had the plague - you should have taken some prophylactic action to avoid that :)

*pumps fist*

Used the word and it was in context!

I'm about 7,000 LY out of Sol, just approaching the NGC 6357 Nebula on my way to Sag A* for the first time. I'm playing in open and my hope above all hopes is to run into another (friendly) CMDR out here some where!
Hope to see one of you soon :)

I'm currently falling back towards the bubble, but heading up through the galactic plane as I go. IIRC, I'm about 5kly out from my home system of HIP 16607. Gotta get back & drive the damn power players out :p

53 LY from Sol, hunting for Unknown Artefacts.

Took a trip to 1,451 LY above Sol at the weekend, possibly a new altitude record. Other than that, can't get up any enthusiasm for more exploring atm.

Still 10K LY out from Sag A*, getting side tracked by all the N & BH, going up and down, and side to side, instead of forward.
I feel like a chicken who's head is off, running around in circles.

Currently about 24,000 Ly out, after having visited Sag A*
I've found a bunch of neutron stars, so I'm hanging around here for awhile.

I'm currently about 11,000 lys out (10,000 towards the core and 4,000 to the "west" and 1,500 "below") just started to hit clusters of neutrons so I'll be farming them next. I left my home in Hyroks a couple of weeks ago with a plan to explore past the core but no real destination.

My aim is to get Elite by the time I get home and will spread the data around so I can A) become allied with the Feds and B) get a few permits.

I figured I'd stay out for a while and bumble around seeing some cool stuff. Now that Horizons has been announced I'm definitely staying out here until it drops so I can land on some of these rocks I've been scanning. I wonder if there will be a "First Landed On" tag :D

I've seen some pretty nice stuff so far. Binary black holes, a neutron who's binary partner has 2 water worlds and an ammonia world, a neutron with an earth-like which was a little bit bigger than Earth and has a moon. :D

Very close to the Cats Paw Nebula, headed vaguely towards the Hub*, in no particular hurry...as long as the whisky holds out, that is.

*I've decided to use Discworld references to directions in the Galaxy...it seems appropriate, somehow.
