Hello I just bought the alpha and something I notice is why is the coaster standard 23 degrees slopes?
Wouldnt it be much easier if it was 45/22.5/etc degrees? 23 is such an odd number
It is - but maths tells us to round up at 22.5 (-> 23) and the other way at 11.25 (-> 11).
I guess, actually it is an angle of 22.5 / 11.25 and just written down in rounded numbers, but tbh I don't think you would notice a difference, would you?![]()
well if you do 2 times 23 degrees you get 46 degrees which is 1 degree off by 45 degrees
this is very annoying if you want to build straight but it wont actually be straight it will be 1 degree off
I believe it is actually 22.5 degrees but it's just written as 23 to keep things neat, so the angles are correct.
