Hi guys,

I'm a big fan of this blog but the article I read last night has blown my mind a little bit. If you are interested in AI, the future of our species and what unbelievably dramatic events could happen in our lifetime I'd recommend it. It has changed my perception. It's a long read but accessible.

I started following this stuff about a decade ago when Kurzweil was talking about the Singularity.

Moore's Law isn't really holding up recently but I am assuming that silicon based transistors will be replaced by something far superior within the next 6-8 years or so.
