When I click on the "Halloway Biology Center Opens" story on the game launcher I am taken to the following link (https://www.elitedangerous.com/news/galnet/article/holloway-biology-centre-opens) but instead of a news story I get the "Buy The Game" web-page and no news story?
Why am I being repeatedly exhorted to buy the game, I HAVE the game.

Do you have cookies disabled or anything like that? The website likes to direct first time visiters to a "buy now" splashscreen. If that doesn't work you can always use the galnet archive to read the story (https://community.elitedangerous.com/galnet/uid/5df10ccad7613412104aa67e) its got better UX anyway.
Cookies are enabled, I think it is on the FDev side, the same thing happened about a year ago and after I posted about it, somehow it got fixed.
I get the news story when I follow your link. If that helps you in anyway.
Link brings me right to the story.
However, in Firefox I go to the "Buy Elite Dangerous" screen. When I disable NoScript for the page, it brings me right to the story.
Seems like whatever element is checking to see if you've visited the site before is being disabled by something in your browser, which continually triggers the forwarding.

The really odd thing is, when I click on the link, which is the web-page's URL that I copied & pasted from my browser's address bar I get the story too but, when I click on the story in the game launcher, which brings me to that URL, I get the "Buy the Game" ("JOIN THE ELITE") web-page.
Same here, must be some sort of blocker stopping scripts from running.

For what it's worth, ever since FDev changed their Website, anything I click linking - incl. any Stories from the Launcher - also just takes me to the Intro Website...
