Why are FDev no longer issuing patching notes?

Genuine question. For the last two patches for the game, there have been zero patch notes issued (or if they are there they are buried so deep I for one can't find them).

What gives? Can FDev please either supply these patch notes or explain why they are no longer issuing same?

Today's patch was to fix a login error that occurred when using the Epic games platform....apparently.

Why no patch notes? You'd have to ask FD. I thought this was a new golden age of FD communication but it seems that industry standard stuff like patch notes aren't included in their comms plan.

Patch notes saying "game maintenance" or something would go a long way in situations like this.

They haven't said "same maintenance" properly, it's got to be delivered in a high-pitched nasal whine or it doesn't count.

Well, they already hide announcements in the middle of hours long streams, so hiding patch notes is the next logical step. I hear Odyssey will be released on floppy disks hidden under a rock in a layby on the B1078 - it's what the kids demand

Be sure to explain them what a floppy is. Last kid I talked to that found one cheered enthusiastic "look, someone 3d printed a save button".
