Why are players barred from ship-transfer profession?

Is it because it pays out 50 to 100x more than any player profession?

Make the price/cost the same as any other profession in the game.

Not sure what OP meant but I have been thinking since beta that the price to transfer ships to Jaques for example are close to 10x-100x or more than passenger missions to the same distance. Cargo haulage in real life is less than taking people. So why are hauling ships so damn much compared to the economy in the rest of the game? Not balanced at all. Especially when you consider the delay implemented now. It should be on par or less then passenger missions.

There is no transfer mission, or profession. Because there is no representation of transfer in game. Because 70% of a small percentage of the player based asked for frontier to add an artificial delay to transfers.

If we asked for the developer to turn transfers into an in-game mechanic, then sure. But we didn't; 70% of us were too busy blindly demanding a timer, to think about actual mechanics.

There is no profession to transfer ships. Are you asking for it to become one? In which case, probably would have been a good idea to have the 70% of your fellow commanders ask for that earlier, than asking for a simple timer.
