Why are there no mods yet

Dont say its not "supported" on rtc3 it was not "supported" but the way you put in mods in rtc 3 (new rollercoaster type for example) you went to tracked rides and put it in there so i was browsing the the local files and there a place for tracks and i think we can put mods in there

Because modding would possibly ruin future DLC frontier has planned. Perfect example is the spooky DLC that was just announced. Aside from the rides. For example the pumpkins and halloween items (walls, roofs, windows..etc) would've easily been mods. I suspect they will open up the game once they released all their planned DLC, I hope so at least.

Uhm ❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎? There were no official Tools for RCT3 either and People did it. They gave us two big expansions despite the Mods. Just because something could be done with mods, dosen't mean it will influence what Frontier is doing. Also, with every day we are getting closer to Modding, just you wait :D But i won't say any more ^^

Exactly why I will patiently wait before I buy any DLC. I don't need to have spooky scenery just because its october, I can enjoy the creations other people make on youtube. I wish these scenery packs had better entertainers besides a solid white ghost, it would be better if the ghost was recolorable so I could use them in a pacman theme [wink] I would like to see real character entertainers (like looney tunes) but I also think licensed content is bad for a creative game like this, and IMO a CSO/UGC editor would elevate this game to a whole new level

Well it is in development but i'm careful with saying: "we got mods now" because it's still a long way.
