Why are Wing Mission bulk cargo payouts so terrible?

Been doing these with a friend all day, and he only managed to find two good ones - one for 3250t of cargo and 8mil rewards, and one for 1056 cargo and 4mil rewards. All of the other missions we've seen have been under 10k credits per ton. It seems like they should be a lot higher.

Yeah, I reckon the wing missions are paying out about as much as I was getting on Solo amounts prior to the update.

Maybe a little higher in terms of credits, but 5 trips in a trade cutter instead of 1?

Also just noticed that pretty much all of my rep with factions has been completely reset. So that's great.
