Horizons Why can't I buy a black paint job?

G'day all,
Been watching the youtube vids and I notice Anaconda's and Imperial Clippers with black paint jobs. Sure looks good. But when I go to the store to purchase, there are no black slinky paint jobs on offer. Were they a one off special? I wonder why black isn't on offer, it's one of the worlds most popular paint jobs. Would you buy a black paint job?

Also might I suggest that ED store sell children bubbleheads; dressed of course in the pilot rig.

Some of the individual ship skins have a black base (Sidewinder Blue Sonoran, Asp Horus) but if it's the all-over black you've seen then as Bartizan says it's probably Black Friday. There's a chance it might make a comeback this year, although there's no actual new Season Pass on which to hang it as a sweetener like there was in 2015.

Tactical Graphite might be worth a look. Not as Hotblack Desiato as Black Friday but it's close. The blackest base colour in the store right now is probably Festive, although the snowflake motif might look a bit silly during the other 11 months of the year.

Black Friday paint job, were given out as a "Thank you" to early supporters of Horizons, and Alpha /Beta bakers (I think) Yep I bought a season pass :)
So i doubt they will be for sale any time soon, as they were a perk for supporters of the game, When RARE RUNS was the best way to make 1 mill PER HOUR !!!!

The "black Friday" skins were a gift from FD for anyone who purchased the game before a certain date about a year ago, as were some of the "gold" skins. Individual, different, cool skins do become available on the FD store website from time to time, without announcement, you just have to check the store constantly (such fun!).

Last week a "midnight black" Clipper paint job was posted in the FD store but only for a few hours. This was confirmed to be in fact, a "black Friday" paint job. Nobody has a good explanation for why a black paint job was posted for only one ship for only a few hours but players have speculated that it was a practice, a run-up for future, a-la-carte "black Friday" paint jobs. Others have guessed maybe FD wanted a particular player to have a black paint job for a certain ship and so made only that skin available on the store so that a particular player (or players) could get it but I am hoping for the former, even better if FD would offer an all-in-one black Friday ship skin package that covers every ship type (and gold, and silver, and rust, and copper, etc. etc.)

I too will just have to keep checking and hoping that the "Black Friday " paint job comes up again.
