CQC Why can't I find the players once I enter deathmatch?

I've played 4 of them so far and in the start screen it show there were anywhere between 4 and 6 players. The game starts and I fly around for the duration and never see any of them. The game ends and I see that they all have kills and such and I have nothing. I could never find them.

Find the power-ups...players will tend to be clustered around them.

If you still don't see anyone, you may have some networking issues.

Maybe it's a network thing. That's all I do is fly around by myself and collect powerups.

I've had similar experiences before as well, OP. However in my case, it was only 1 or two players I couldn't see or interact with. Never a whole lobby.
