Engineers Why can't I remote engineer my T9's thrusters?

I have dirty drives pinned from Palin. I can use the remote engineering to engineer the thrusters on all my ships except my T9. It currently has grade 2, but so does my Cobra and I can remote-engineer those no problem. Does it perhaps matter who did the initial upgrade? I can't imagine why it would - also I have no memory of who I used in the first place - but I can't think of any other reason.

EDIT: Actually, it might be because of mass. I'll have a play around and see. Remind me again - is it the minimum or maximum mass I need to worry about? Damn it's been a while since I did any engineering.

Is it possible you engineered those thrusters so long ago that they have legacy mods on them? Cuz those can't be remote engineered, as I recall.

If it is a Legacy issue you will know when you visit an engineer if not remotely. IIRC upgrading Legacy mods lowers the equipment grade by one. An engineered grade 2 thruster would be a grade 1 after the conversion. If it is something else we need more info.

On the basis that you can't install Drag Drives remotely anyway, I decided to fly out to Palin. And turns out it was indeed a legacy mod. It really has been a while.

Also I now remember why I called my T9 the Soggy Cowpat, because it has all the flight characteristics of one.
