Why can't we advert for toilets?

The new advert system for signs are great. It is finally like how it was intended to work since Alpha1 when they presented the signs. [happy]
However, we can not advertize to guide the guests to the toilet stalls. The toilet signs are fully compatible with the feature, we are just not allowed do target the toilet stalls. [sad]

Why? Please open up this for toilets as well!

they know where everything isl located. you dont need signs for every shop and/or ride.

Well what is the fun in that?

Anyway, it is very strange that this feature is available on toilet signs if not intend to be used.

But yeah part of me agrees because people would want to know where the nearest toilet is...but then again it also sounds like the worst new attraction ever. ;)

Possible reasons why you do not need to advertise for toilets:

You might have a variety of food stalls, or shops, some of which might be ignored due to popularity of specific brands. But you do not have a variety of toilets, you only have 1 type of toilet, and they are never ignored except when you place them too far away.

I love ya, but sometimes you miss the point: no we don't need to advertise toilets, that's no reason not to let us advertise toilets -- it's a game, it's supposed to be fun! The option to advertise toilets would be fun, or at least amusing (see my graphic above), regardless of how little effect it had. [rolleyes]

Well, I maybe wanna advert my Fairy tale special pony unicorn loo with rainbows toilet paper and magical fountain flushing toilet stall at the very far far away rare end of my park. [big grin]

And in reality in parks, toilet signs are those of most importance! [mouth shut]

I hope Frontier fixes this, so that restrooms can be advertised. After all, it would be optional, just like everything else in PC.

While I agree that this is true, we can make signs for the restroom, its just that by adding an option for them to be linked serves no actual purpose in the game because guests dont use advertising as a map, they dont go up to an advertisement thinking "where is the bathroom" they go up to the advertisement and think "oh this place is different and maybe I should go there"

now if guests were able to "get lost" and require maps and/or sign posts, that would be different but you don't "advertise" bathrooms

Yeah it's true. That is how the guest brains in the game is designed.

However, it would be a more interesting gameplay if the guest brain was a bit more blank and only use the knowledge provided to them by what they see were they are, by experience and by information provided to them by info booths, maps and signs. Just like in real life. The signs in the game from start have only been cosmetic for the player, and that is sad for us who like the management part of the gameplay. I would like it to matter. I'm happy that signs for shops and rides now by option can matter. It would be more complete if the same was for the facility. My irritation though are the facts that facility signs do have this feature to choose shops and rides to advertise for. Like they are kind of half way already. But I guess I better use this instead by naming a coaster "The Toilet ATM" and creatively combine the facility signs for this.

This could actually be useful. Since they influence a desire, it could be helpful to give greater weight to relief over getting in line for a coaster. I have a toilet right next to a coaster entrance and I have watched peep after peep head to the toilet, only to change their mind and get in line for the coaster.
 
I've read that its better to place shops/restrooms after a ride exit, but it would make sense for guests to use the bathroom before entering a queue

Indeed. I rather consider the medic stall to be important to place near the exit to a ride with high nausea.
