Why can't we simply assign a staff member to a zone in their info box?

Like you can in Planet Zoo, why can't I just select a drop down of work zones here to assign them to one? Do I really have to still do the 20 clicks workaround through the scheduler after 5 months of updates? I'm finding there's worrying little-to-no 'quality of life' fixes in this update at all, like there was in the previous ones, and I hope they realise the UI/UX is not quite yet in a state to be left for finished, and still has some hairtearing tediocities to iron out.

For such a change frontier devs would need to play their own game, put themself into our position. I highly doubt that is the case…

This is a huge pain point in the game. Its so hard to create a zone and add people to it I just don't do it in PC2.
Same, it's great to do in Planet Zoo, implemented so simply, yet missing this simple ability in PC2 and the absolute horror that is the staff scheduler UI I just don't bother ever doing it
