So, we know that Thargoids ships are made from part machine, part biologic. Here on Earth now, 15% sodium hypochlorite (commercial grade bleach) is very cheap (less than $5/us gallon). As a weak acid know for being highly effective as killing all biologics, it could easily start to dissolve the hull, and help prevent it from growing back and repairing. As a double whammy, the biological solvent for Thargoids is ammonia. Bleach and ammonia make chloramine gas, which is like a weaker version of chlorine gas. It's still toxic, corrosive, and deadly.
So, what is stopping humanity from putting high concentrations of sodium hypochlorite as the payload inside of missiles, and making our own version of AX caustic missiles?
