Why can't we use INFO panel in game?

I watched Chapter Four video of FD. UI has a lot of changes. But FD doesn't use INFO panel again and all new changes come to other panels. Other panels get lots of complexity.

We can use INFO panel for some UI changes and can reach it simply with "5" (1-2-3 and 4 keys are using for other panels).

What is wrong with between INFO panel and FD :)
 
Look, up and right corner. It is INFO panel. We simply can not reach yet. My question is why we can't reach it?

There's nothing to reach, it's used exclusively to display status messages like FA off, proximity warnings and such.

Hm, it wouldn't be a bad idea to equip the right Info Panel and - similar to the Menus for the Comms Panel in the left top - put some Functions there if needed.

I mean why not?

In theory, a CMDR could move custom functions there for quick access.
Combat? Maybe copy Reboot/Repair or individual Modules ON/OFF there?
Mining... Refinery Functions there?

Either way, the right top Info Panel could be utilized for any functions similar to the left top Panel indeed if needed.
 
How would you access it on either a HOTAS or controller where access to the first four panels is button + left, right, up or down?
 
I am still disappointed if the UI rework will not touch crucial
information being shown directly on the main UI elements:
KWS and cargo scan results need to be on screen,
not hidden!

The suggestion to have it parse the results to the Info panels
is as old, as the implementation of those scanners is.
