I always thought that commodity rewards for missions were better than taking the credit reward. You know, they produce the good so they can give it to you at a better rate, and everyone wins.
But then I got curious. Here's a mission I took today:
If you do the math, taking the credit reward and then BUYING gold with it, even after taking off the remaining credits on the gold option, gives you 22.6 gold instead of 21.
So there's literally no reason to ever take the commodity reward? What's the deal? Shouldn't that be a better deal than normal?
