Newcomer / Intro Why do I have a blue arrow on a fleet carrier??

My left-hand HUD's Navigation screen, I just noticed I have a blue mission-related arrow marking a fleet carrier that I've never been to or have any connection with.
I have no active missions, no reason why that I can imagine I'd have a mission-marker on an FC!
What could that mean??
I did go ahead and land on it, and looking through the various...departments (?) (cool layout, I'd never been on a FC before), I don't see anything still to connect me to this FC.
Thanks for any help!

Those have been there forever. They mark your current locale. Not missions. If it was a mission marker it'd be a blue globe.
Weird, because it was on there before I even approached the FC. The only reason I approached and landed on it was because I saw the blue arrow on it on my Nav, and went to go check it out :/

As metatheurgist said, this marks the closest physical navigable-to body in the star system (and a FC counts as a stationary object unless filtered out) to your position.
Most likely it was/is in orbit around the planet closest to you, in a position between said planet and you.
When the curios-you approached it, you got even nearer, hence no reason to put that location indicator elsewhere.

Just look into the system map, planet orbit view (don't know what it's called, the xbox is off until the evening).
When you arrive in the system, that blue marker will be on the sun.
Look into the galaxy map, that blue marker is on your starting point star system.
