Outside of conflict zones, I no longer see Cutters at nav/ compromised nav beacons, like I did in 2015/ 2016. They used to be more widely used by NPC.
I feel like you should at least see security flying them in imperial controlled or contested zones, and the federation should be flying Corvettes in these zones as well. Yet? Security only ever seems to universally fly Anacondas and Vipers instead.
You really only see pirates in Corvettes, Clippers and Couriers...yet? No longer in Cutters. This would be like seeing mafia and present day pirates predominantly flying F-22 Raptors, Eurofighter Typhoons, SU-57s and AC-130 gunships... Like what? What happened to the militaries purchasing these?
They're only found in conflict zones. They should be patrolling imperial ports, beacons and non-hazardous resource sites, while Anacondas, Vipers, Cobras and non-Imperial Eagles are the signature mercenary/ pirate ships. I mean, sure...in the books it's possible for pirates to capture and fly even Cutters, much like Man O War, and slave ships of the past but still...this wouldn't happen frequently enough to make pirates in Corvettes common.
