Why does Frontier release limited edition paint jobs, and never releases them again?

Someone has something.
I want it.
I can't have it because I didn't get it when it was available.
This is not fair.
Everyone should be able to have the same thing as everyone else,
Because I want it.
And I am special.

A limited edition has value only if it is limited.

True enough but to establish that value the edition size should be stated, there is a lot more scarcity value in something with an edition size of 100 compared to something with an edition size of 1,000,000 yet both are limited editions.
