Why does Platinum seem left out of map filters?

Anyone else notice this or is it just that mine is bugged?

Cannot filter for it under commodities, metals etc.. seems everything else is there.

Is it some kind of ghost metal LOL

Sorry, I have not used in games tools for goods in quite some time, they are just too far behind the third party tools.
Riverside should be along soon to explain it, he only uses ingame tools.

Heh, i use 3rd party tools as well.

Its just odd... if you have 1 ton in cargo, you can find it on the map that way, but not straight up filtering.

The in-game tools works very well. Some cargo is not in the default list. If you carry it in your ship it will be available however

There are a couple of mats not in the filter which is strange. I just thought it was one of the many weird design decisions FDev decided to roll with for no good reason.

Never noticed before.

Assumed maybe because it can only be produced by commander mining rather than from extraction, but not consistent as Benitoite (core mine only) does show by default.
