WHY does she do that?

Every time my SLF pilot gets into the figher she *always* turns off the power to the heat sink launcher.

So when I jump in and I'm looking at the Annie *she* shot at after I left the mother ship and I've emptying my lasers thinking I've got another 30 secs burn when I drop my HS, but nothing happens and I'm left richarding around with my power management screen to turn the thing back on again!

What the sweet Jebus is that all about?

Maybe you need to train her up a bit...

She's supposed to be a MASTER.

Well, joking aside then, file a bug report I suppose.

edit: Come to think of it, if your system capacitors are empty (from to much shield damage for example) Heat sink won't fire.
You need at least 1 or 2 bars in the capacitor if I recall correctly.

Mine is Elite now, so he's become a smug, cocky know-it-all. I'm in a souped-up Cutter that can shield tank for hours and take down most NPC ships in a matter of seconds, yet he's always warning me about low-ranking Sidewinders, Eagles, Cobras, etc - "this one's got some experience, stay out of it's line of fire". What???

Nope, when I check the module screen, the power to the HS has been turned off, it's not just that I can't fire it in the heat of battle (pun totally intended).

Does she leave the 'loo seat down too?

O man I so totally wanted to go there, but you know, it isn't the 70's anymore... so they tell me anyway.

No, what really gets me is the "I'm under fire commander, what are your orders?"... like..., I dunno... maybe shoot back? How that for an idea?
