yep all good reasons, some which made it a no-brainer to buy the skin. let FDEV find out how far they can go. it is not like they hurt anyone in any way. cosmetic mods are just the start i'd wager ;)

ps: no, FDEV will NOT go all out p2w

bought it for several reasons incl. nostalgia, ego and brassneck but also because it kinda reminded me of the mighty boosh!

I can relate to that, only I bought the 30th anniversary t-shirt rather than the Cobra skin - 45 Aus dollars including postage. And the funny thing is, in the sober light of day, I don't regret it one bit.

FD should make Jameson's the official whisky of Elite: Dangerous. :)

There is still no special content for premium beta nor expansion pass people and they're throwing out skins (they do not take effort. Frontier are doing some CRAZY STUFF (Akin to a ship high in transit :^) ) but these skins are just a small thing, they should be part of the game. So basically you're saying because you chose to pay more you should get extras thrown in for free even though they were clearly not included in what you paid for on top of getting exactly what you paid for and when you don't you feel cheated by Frontier?

I thought it was overpriced but bought it anyway. The "It's only £1 per day for the 30th anniversary event" swayed me.

I also knew I'd regret missing this collectors item if I saw others with it in the game subsequently.

I'll also be starting with a Cobra so it would be a good start to the launched game.

Still feel a bit 'manipulated' though... :eek:

I will also start with a Cobra in the game, but I will buy another skin (I hope that Frontier will make a series of skins for the Cobra). The wireframe skin does not attract me particularly
