WHy is it harder to hit a cobra than a viper/eagle/sw etc

I didnt know this, but I am suprised its easier to hit an eagle. I would have thought that would have been designed to have a smaller heat sig than a big fat cobra. Interesting.

Just for reference, my almost fully upgraded Cobra tends to run around 40 degrees, depending on what I'm doing. I've seen that go as low as 35 at times, though not often.

Shes a big ship, compared to an Eagle, Viper or even a Sidewinder. There's a lot more hull there, so I imagine it's a lot easier to dissipate heat, which may account for why they run cooler than some of the smaller ships.

Not using Yaw ?

You are missing about 50% of your combat effectiveness. Get a new stick with twist capability at the very least. Trust me, it will be worth it.

I started prem Beta with a microsoft sidewinder pro that I bought years ago.

I fought like mad to get accurate with that with yaw on the twist on the training sims.

I wanted more buttons so it wa sthe x52, thrustmaster or Ch combatstick.

Went with the CH and put yaw on a hat. Tried yaw on roll etc, hated them all. So i decided to try gimballed and I get on ok with it.
Maybe I will try again when I stop having fun.

Most people that i know put yaw on the twist and roll with the stick. I CANNOT play like this. It just feels unnatural to me. So i switched it round.

Now I have yaw on the stick and roll on the twist and it feels totally natural and normal. My friend tried it and thinks im crazy as he can't fly like it but it works for me.....and i kick his ass at dogfighting
