CQC Why is the Taipan not in CQC ?

The obvious question in 2.2, why wasn't the Taipan added to CQC ?
And a poll if people would even want that.

Well, it's unfortunately clear that the devs haven't had any cycles to spare for improving CQC, so I don't expect including the Taipan will happen until they do.

I think it could make a sensible "medium fighter" option, heavier than the Condor/Imp but lighter than the Sidewinder / Eagle.

Or maybe they'll just remove the Sidewinder and Eagle from CQC entirely and stick with "pure" fighters. I could see that working too, if you increased the gap between Condor and Imp a bit.

i kind of agree with that, removing the sidy and eagle from the game sort of makes sense OR if FD really wanted to put some time into CQC have different "classes" of CQC.

the SLFs would be light weight, and sidey, eagle (and Krait???) could be heavy weight.
