I took a hole lot of bulletin board missions (apx 1.2 mil worth) Getting ready to depart flash power goes out. Using 4g to type this. Now I'm not necessarily liked in the area I am in if I fail all of these missions they will kill me. But this storm is getting worse and power will not come on till it stops(as my local electric company has to be" safe"). Now what can I do most of the missions expire in about 2 hours. Also station I'm at has no black market.

Because once everything expires I could sale my now stolen goods to cover my fees and donate to locals.
Man that sucks.. had that happen to me a few times. I just try and make the most of it.. drive to the shops the furthest you can imagine from home, pick up some groceries and then drive home in peak hour. If you close your eyes, it's almost like you're flying to Hutton Orbital.

Don't close your eyes driving IRL though.
You'll totally get interdicted by the cops.

Can you plug your phone into your PC and use it as a 4G modem?
You might not get great performance from ED but it might get the missions done.
@IronGremlin - I think its more likely you'd get interdicted by a tree (rural setting) or light pole/wall/vehicle (urban setting). Ouch.

Isn't it obvious? With an connection to E: D from his phone he will be able to use the powerplant on his ship to power his PC.

You need to take up cycling. That way you will have a tab in your browser permanently open on the local weather report page. Big storm coming. Don't take on heaps of time critical missions in ED.

Better yet, unplug the computer when there is a big storm coming. IMO the OP was lucky all what happened was the power going out. Next time it might mean a new PC.

Over here (uk) storms don't cause the electricity supplier to shutdown - unless there is a direct strike on the substation. However, all our pcs are plugged into a multiway socketwith surge protection along with the peripherals.
Maybe i should install Elite on the laptop just in case - though our mobile reception isn't as good as 3g.

Also power came on For 15min made it to first destination next one doesn't expire for almost a day.
They get a bit toey if you give them a bit of unfriendly fire.. say, the middle finger salute for example. Also avoid taking their donuts.. both equally frowned upon by the rozzers
