General / Off-Topic Why no for sale section?

I realise that this is a Frontier site for all things Frontier, but there must be a lot of people interested in

having a section where you can buy/sell 'relevant' stuff such as computers, parts, games, signed photos of David B etc.

Especially as ED is a space trading game?

I can't be certain, but I would have thought Frontier's liability would be the issue.

Too cumbersome to manage perhaps, and Frontier in higher priorities probably. But the idea is good

too much hassle, the mods have enough to do already without having to deal with arguments over unposted/not as described items. if the forum ever does get a for sale section i'd be willing to bet that it could only be used to advertise items posted for sale elsewhere, ebay for example.

To be totally honest it would open up a massive can of worms i.e. What happens if someone falsely advertises a product or fails to deliver a product to name just two off the top of my head?

Never say never but I doubt it will be happening anytime soon.
