Ship Builds & Load Outs Why noone is using other alloys and coatings?

I've been looking at builds for Anacondas, Cutters and Corvettes but even though these are the most expensive toys around nobody is upgrading the alloys and coatings..

Why?

They do, but mostly don't bother putting them on coriolis etc.

In the case of my most recent post, I set my Anaconda up for multi-role/multi-crew and bounty hunting specifically so the armor doesn't really come into play because I'm not getting mobbed. 1 or even a wing of bounty targets will take several minutes to get through my shields, meanwhile I can melt A rated Python shields with boosters in under 10 seconds, add the fighter support and the armor is just added cost and weight.

If I was intending on CZ farming, I'd go much more tank oriented.
