Why not let everyone buy deluxe edition !!!

Player who bought the basis game are disappoint.
Some people buy gifts became unusable,
Early players felt that this was unfair.

You can into the Steam Support section and removed game,
Then you can buy deluxe edition. [where is it]
The price is still relatively cheap.

So this sale didn't help.
Why not let everyone buy it?

I guess Frontier don't want my money.

It’s stupid to delete the game and buy it again.
The final price is still cheaper.

I see the same question on Reddit, Steam, Chinese forums.
There are a few players are not going to buy.
You could sell more deluxe edition.

I think because the Deluxe edition makes it cheaper which they can probably only afford to offer due to the sales they have already had, to entice new players who were not bothered about paying full price for the game. This is just my reasoning. I do not work for Frontier, but it makes business sense.

This happens with every game and not just PC.
Games that have be out a while usually release bundles to entice new players. Some games even make old dlc free.
Something you have to accept.

deluxe-gate is getting kind of old. This happens with most games with a lot of DLC.

IMO its a bit of an insult to offer a discount to "new players only" and to make old/original players pay more. seems backwards considering we paid extra just to show support when the game wasnt even close to finished. I should have known better when they were charging $20-60 for VIP guest editor so I'll have to increase my vigilance for pre-orders and DLC ... and, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who is waiting for the DLCs to go on sale because they just are not worth their price. It literally costs more to buy the DLC than the base game, and the DLC just doesnt offer enough content at full price IMO. Wheres the improvements to scenario/career mode that nobody posts about around here anymore cause everybody has lost hope

It's the same with anything though whether finished or not, the more sales made, the cheaper they can sell the product for. Without those initial sales at the higher price, they cannot offer the discounts. The only thing I can think of is for them to offer separate DLC bundles, which i wouldn't be surprised if happens in the future.
