I have seen some good charts, but i don't like being forced to use external sources to play a game.Might I suggest https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=248275 ?
hehe... i did exactly this, but it bothered me, that i had to take one photo for each material description. While I agree with being able to review all the recipes you know about, a temporary "fix" is to take a screen shot of the recipe and a screenshot while hovering your mouse over each component (to get the text telling you where to get it).
Yes, yes, I know, this isn't how it should be, but until Frontier eventually allow you to view all the recipes, taking a screenshot is probably the next best thing you can do.
My thoughts exactly. Why even pin recipes?
Why can't we see the full engineer screen (with the buttons to mod a weapon disabled of course)?
And on the same tone, why can't we see the full configuration of our ships when we browse Shipyard -> Ship location? (you know, to differentiate which of your Anacondas is configured for trade, and which is configured for combat)?
Because we all have access to pen and paper to take note? c'mon!
The way FD limits access to things critically needs by players is beyond me.
Because getting enough materials to roll the same upgrade a few times is going to take forever and a day anyway.
I'm finding it is much less frustrating to blindly collect materials from any of the other activities you are doing and then go from there. Trying to satisfy a specific recipe is sure to cause insanity.
My guess is: the original pen and paper generation of original Elite players. The way FD limits access to things critically needs by players is beyond me.
