I'm now recouping some of my sunk costs in PTW gaming. I'm re-installing World Of Everything.

I will be able to access years of paid stuff. I will also be dealing with competent evil, in terms of PTW/FTP.

Since I have pre-ground/paid for the premium content, I need not pay more.

Now, I have to see if I can do that with MechWarrior...

Ah, good. I was able to reactivate my MechWarrior account.

So, I can use the money I fed to the Canadians, as well as the Russians.

The download for MechWarrior will have to wait for the World Of Everything downloads. The Wargaming server must be slow.

I think I need another break from Elite. The half-ARX'ed implementation of an artificial currency reminded me that I still had investments left over from other games. Those games had PTW/FTP built in from the start. Frontier implemented the concept ineptly, and damaged the franchise in doing so. I'm in need of a diversion until 2020. :(

You could just ignore Arx. Make a macro to quickly jump into the game, and you won't even see them on the start screen (the only place they are "in our face").

That was when I bought the Elite Mercenary edition for the FreEagle. :)

Yup. No refund from Pirhana Games for my MechWarrior MC.

And, I have $9.97 USD in Gold on Wargaming.net for World Of Everything. Probably not getting it back, either.

Just finished my first try of World of Warships. Not too bad. Simple arcade bang bang. Staying at Tier 1 or 2 is sufficient fun, without grinding. And, they have daily awards for playing.

Warplanes is something I have already ground. Again, staying at the lower levels is the way to go. Daily awards there too. The sharks seldom bother in the lower tiers.

Tanks, of course, is right out of Dante. The nutcases rule.

Wonder when daily ARX awards will show. Probably after the December Disaster...

Frontier is doing it wrong. I'm getting daily rewards, ingame rewards that are specific, and even free gold for participating in events.

I can see why Warships is so popular. It isn't the truly toxic perdition that Tanks is. I'm enjoying staying at low levels.

Hint for CQC: Warships fills the game with bots on both sides to fill out a match. Max wait is thirty seconds. Frontier is too greedy, in wanting everyone to buy a commander account.

Uninstalled MechWarrior. Don't need the headache of dealing with humans.

Been having lots of fun leveling up my pilots and captains. Boats is so easy to play at the lower two levels. Above that, destroyers and carriers become quite annoying. Simple surface gun battles are quite fun enough. With no need to progress further, the need for goodies goes away.

Planes is a different critter. It's hard to get matches at below level five most of the day. Fortunately, I have lots of tier 5-7 aircraft left over, plus some premium birds left over.

Signing in every day is how they keep the numbers up. There's a goodie package each day. I even log on to Tanks for that.

Altogether, this is a refreshing break from Elite. I'm having fun.

Have you tried Warframe? The Arx is made of Platinum there! Played that so much that I'd go after a coupla months and buy some Arxes and buy a pretty skin that would give me free line of sight on one of the most legendary butts (and legs) in all the game.

Doing very nicely in Boats and Planes. To those who keep telling others who complain about Elite to go play something else, I say, "Thank You". :)
