Why the hell is my game in German now?

After reading this thread I want to play in German. You know, just for the kicks.

Don't forget the Missiontexts in German Version..all in English but the commodity in German.... other weird thing is Kommandeur .....

Well - never tried it in german (I play all games in english) and never had the issues described above - just spotted it in a german youtube video.

I had this after installing the gamma 2 launcher. For me it worked to restart the computer after changing the language in the launcher and in the game to german. I'm from germany but I don't like it if some things are not localized and in online games it simplifies the communication so I don't have to translate the words back and forth.
