Hello cmdrs. I am probably writing in the name of many that already tried beta 1.5.3 and I assume that I am not the only one that
would like to have "ships" 1.5 release a bit earlier than horizons:] It is almost a month and surely horizons will require a lot of beta testing - longer, the better. More testing, less bugs - GREAT:]
BUT! BUT.. I think ships should be just fine after a quite long beta test we have "all" done.

I know it's much but I wish Santa would bring us 1.5 before horizons and x-mas :] Ho Ho Ho!

If I take an educated guess:

1.5 already includes most features from Horizons (excluding actual landing on planets) therefor it might not turn out so great to release it beforehand, especially since changes in Horizons might affect 1.5. This would mean they would have to work on 2 versions of the game at the same time rather than having 1 version for everyone, which simply blocks off some functionality for certain players.

Perhaps they need the extra time to polish a few things in the code?

Be patient grasshopper...good things come to those that wait.

As long as they don't release smth with as many bugs as 1.4 or as gamebreaking bugs as this insta-ram-death-bug somewhere around 1.2, I am fine if it is somewhere in december. But I doubt it as clean as I expect it to be even though they have this much time to polish it ...

It would be nice, as there a load of features I miss from the 1.5 beta. However since there are even more things that tie in to 2.0 and need to be tested, and will probably break with 2.0... I'd think waiting will be a better idea.
