Horizons Why was my ship destroyed?

Well it's the 12 million credit question. I had hard points deployed in a no fire zone. I destroyed a wanted ship. I was near a space station. Didn't think I had any criminal types on board. Maybe I hit security by mistake? Wanted followed by boom! Just don't know why. Probably was scanned? Tricky business but hey ho. No clue on comms panel.

If I did have wanted travellers, does ship boom aid their capture, surely a meaty fine and criminal capture on the station would be more efficient? Still made my cash back now so on with the show!

I do like this update, but do feel forced into being a space taxi as other revenue streams seem to be in drought mode.

You receive a fine when you fire your weapons in no-fire zone, which is normally of a little concern
But if you had some residual dormant bounty on you, it gets reactivated. And so it does when you're scanned.
Or you could have accidentally shot a security ship, if there were some around your target.
